Managing Supply Chains demands a Director



According to www.nu.nl the Dutch Commission that researched the efficiency of Dutch Railways concluded that the recent and ongoing issues with regards to performance, safety and inability to cope with severe weather conditions are a result of the chosen model where one party is responsible for the infrastructure and one party operates the trains. According to the commission there is a lack of overall direction and there is no party managing the integration of services from both parties, the resulting services are sub-optimised and fragile.

New employees



My name is Olga Alexandrovna Proskurina. I come from Siberia, Russia. I’ve studied Export-Import company activities in Moscow. Since 2007 I’ve been living in the Netherlands. I always wanted to use my university knowledge and my goods knowledge of the Russian language and the Russian culture in my professional life. Therefore, in March 2011 I’ve started to work at Spider Logistics as logistics technician for the Russian market.

Custom Union corridor



On November 3th, mr. Aleksey Burduli, deputy general director Beltamozhservice and mr. Marcel Smink, CEO SIC Group, have both signed agreements with Spider Logistics, represented by mr. Anton van Dongen, managing director, to start the development of a door-to-door service for European based customers into Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. This initiative has been the result of the new customs union between the 3 countries involved and  with the new cooperation between Beltamozhservice, SIC Group and Spider Logistics a service will be developed that will ensure a short lead-time from Brest (Belarus) towards any destination in the Russian Federation.

Official start
